Key-facts
Why should you choose ST Targets, and why use cross-linked PE for targets?
• Extremely high stopping power:
Thanks to the tight cross-linking of the pores, the material stops even arrows from powerful compound bows at a shorter distance than conventional foam.
• Excellent ‘self-healing’ effect:
The closed-cell, cross-linked structure almost completely contracts again after the arrow is removed. This prevents the centre of the target from crumbling away quickly (known as ‘shooting through’).
• Easy arrow extraction:
Despite the high braking force, arrows are often easier to pull out than from melted Ethafoam, as cross-linked PE is less likely to stick to the arrow’s surface.
• Weather resistance:
The material is completely water-repellent and UV-stable, meaning the targets can remain outdoors permanently (e.g. on courses) without becoming brittle.
